MY GARMENT STYLES COME IN A RANGE OF SIZES

Trying on a handwoven garment is the only way to determine the correct sizing. All of my garments are constructed with plenty of ease, in order to fit a wide range of body types. The handwoven fabrics themselves contain varying amounts of ease. The same size - in the same style, can fit the same person differently, depending on the yarns used in the weave. Lined styles have the least amount of variation, as the handwoven fabrics have been fused to a interfacing to stabilize the drape, and prevent sag and bag over the lining.

My handwoven fabrics are made from cotton and rayon yarns. There is no wool used, except in pieces of Nuno felt that have been incorporated into some of my garments.

  • All of my garments may be dry cleaned or washed by hand.

  • Dry flat and iron with steam.

It pleases me immensely to design and weave fabrics and make clothes from handwoven cloth. The process of doing so is not fast. Nor is the decision to invest in wearable art.
